Fowlers Yard

Fowlers Yard creative workshops are open to the public, providing visitors with the opportunity to meet artists and craftspeople and observe different creative processes, such as, goldsmithing, painting, textile arts, embroidery, tapestry, photography, micro brewing and hat making. There is also a Coffee Shop in which to relax and take in the atmosphere.

Situated on the banks of the River Wear the workspaces are moments away from the historic and retail heart of Durham City centre.

Burnett 4 Cakes

Burnett 4 Cakes provides high quality cakes made by a professional pastry chef, Chris Burnett.  Chris has many years experience in the catering industry.

They offer a wide range of cakes and designs at prices to suit your budget.  They can make them as simple or as intricate, as light or rich as you wish.  Choose anything from a home baked fruitcake to a deliciously moist dark chocolate and orange sponge, perhaps a banana cake or Madeira cake.  If this does not tempt you then tell them your favourite flavour and they will endeavour to fulfil your dreams!
